🏗️ How to create an offer
Here are 6 simple steps to get you up and running!
1. Sign Up
Signing up on CryptoLocally is very simple.
The first step is to input your
email address and to create your CryptoLocally
user ID and password. Once you have read through
the
terms of useand
privacy policy, click on Agree on Terms. After verifying your email,
you are ready to start trading on CryptoLocally!

2. Create an Offer
First,
select the Cryptocurrency that you want to sell or
buy.

Then, click
Create Offer on the top left of the navbar.

3. Type of Trade
Select the type of trade you want to place - include details
such as - are you a
buyer or a
seller
the
offer status, payment method, and
location.
In case you want to sell/buy BTC with
fiat (cash), select
Local Cash(In Person)
and make sure to fill the
name of the city
you wish to trade in.

4. Price, Amount & Currency
Next step is
price and amount of BTC you wish to
trade;
this includes the
currency
and the rate of margin (e.g. how much of a premium or discount
that you are offering). Once you set the rate of margin, the
BTC price will be automatically
calculated based on the prevailing market prices (sourced from
the Coingecko exchange).

5. Save Offer
By Clicking
SAVE NEW OFFER
, you will complete the process and publish your first trade
offer!

6. Live Offer 🎉
Congratulations! Your offer is now officially live on
CryptoLocally! You can review edit or delete your offers
anytime by clicking
My offers.

🛒 How to buy BTC
1. Switch CryptoLocally to BTC
First, select the Cryptocurrency that you want to sell or
buy, in this case we will select BTC.

2. Search
and select an offer
Go to the Buy page, where you will see all the current
offers available to buy BTC. You can filter offers by
currency, location, and payment methods. You can also click on
the Buy button to view more information about the
offer.

3. Open
trade
After you press the Buy button you will be directed to the
first step of the transaction: Open Trade. During this
step, you will see more information about the offer, including
the terms of the trade and trader information.
If you do not agree with the terms, you can always go back to
the previous page and choose another offer.
To start the trade, first select
where BTC should be sent to. Choose the
amount of BTC you want to buy. Then click on
Publish Offer to discuss payment details with the
seller.

4. Agree on
terms
Here you can message the seller and
agree on a payment method. If you agree with the terms,
click on Agree on terms.
If you are not happy with the terms, you can cancel the trade
by clicking on the buttons under Having an issue menu. Or, you
can always go back to the previous page, if you didn’t click
on Agree on terms.

5. Funds
escrow
On this step, you just have to
wait for the seller to fund the escrow by sending the
BTC to our smart contract escrow. The seller has a
Two Hour time limit to fund the escrow.
Our unique smart contract escrow system protects all the
trades on CryptoLocally until the end of each transaction The
fund is held in the escrow in the name of the user
temporarily. Then after the seller confirms that they have
received the payment, the escrow is released and the tokens
are sent to the buyer’s wallet. This process allows buyers and
sellers to complete trades safely and trustfully.
Please consider time zones, if you are not trading with
locals!
* The time of completing funding escrow depends mostly on the
current network traffic.

6. Pay
If you entered into this stage, it means the seller has
successfully funded the escrow and it is now safe for you to
pay the required amount to the seller.
You have a time limit of 120 mins to send the required
amount. After completing the payment, click on
Mark As Paid.
DO NOT SEND money outside of the stipulated payment
time.

7. Release
escrow
Once the seller confirms that he/she received the payment,
the seller will release the escrow so that you can
receive your BTC.
At this point, if the seller does not respond or does not
release the escrow, you can report the user immediately by
clicking the “Having an issue” button. It will lead you to a
dispute page.
8. Congratulations!🎉
Congratulations , you just successfully completed your first
trade on CryptoLocally!
You will now receive an email from CryptoLocally to confirm
the transfer of BTC.
You are able to rate the completed trade by using the
comment feature and offer the other trader feedback. By rating
other users and receiving ratings, you can grow your trust
among other CryptoLocally users and build your reputation.
Both parties are able to go back to check the status of the
trade anytime by clicking on
my trades.

💰 How to sell BTC
1. Switch CryptoLocally to BTC
First, select the Cryptocurrency that you want to sell or
buy, in this case we will select BTC.

2. Search
and select an offer
You can go to the Sell page, where you will see all the
current offers available to sell BTC. You can
filter offers by currency, location and payment
methods. Then you can click on the Sell button to view
more information about the offer.

3. Open
Trade
After you press the Sell button you will be directed to the
first step of the transaction: Open Trade. During this
step, you will see more information about the offer, including
the terms of the trade and trader information.
If you do not agree with the terms, you can always go back to
the previous page and choose another offer.
To start the trade, enter the amount of BTC you want to
sell. Then click on Publish Offer to discuss payment
details with the buyer - your trading partner.
You need to keep in mind that you as a seller, need to
add the BTC network transaction fee, while transferring
BTC.

4. Agree on terms
Here you can send a message to the buyer and
agree on a payment method. If you agree with the terms,
click on Agree on terms.
If you are not happy with the terms, you can cancel the trade
by clicking on the buttons under Having an issue menu. Or, you
can always go back to the previous page, if you didn’t click
on Agree on terms.

5. Funds
escrow
On this step, you will be required to deposit the BTC to the
CryptoLocally smart contract address. You will have a
Two hour time limit to fund the escrow.
The correct address and the amount of BTC are required to
successfully fund the escrow!
Once you complete this step, your BTC will be moved from your
wallet to the trade escrow.
Our unique smart contract escrow system protects all the
trades on CryptoLocally until the end of each transaction. The
fund is held in the escrow in the name of the user
temporarily. Then, after the seller confirms that they have
received the payment, the escrow is released and the tokens
are sent to the buyer’s wallet. This process allows buyers and
sellers to complete trades safely and trustfully.
Click on Mark as funded to continue the trade.
* The time of completing funding escrow depends mostly on the
current network traffic.
Keep in mind that you, as a seller, need to consider the
transaction fee, while transferring BTC, to make sure that the
smart contract receives the exact amount needed to move on to
the next step.
Make sure you have enough BTC funds to send to the trade
escrow, it includes the transaction fee as a seller.
6. Pay
You have successfully funded the escrow.
Make sure that you have given the buyer your payment
information, you’ll need to
wait for him/her to pay the required amount before
releasing the escrow to complete the trade. The Buyer has a
time limit of Two hours to send the payment.

7. Release
Escrow
Click Release escrow to complete the transaction,
ONLY AFTER you
have received the payment from the buyer.
At this point, if the seller does not respond or does not
release the escrow, you can report the user immediately by
clicking the “Having an issue” button. It will lead you to a
dispute page.
NEVER release escrow before you have received payment!

8. Congratulations! 🎉
You just successfully completed your first trade on
CryptoLocally!
You are able to rate the completed trade by using the
comment feature and give the other trader feedback. By rating
other users and receiving ratings, you can grow your trust
among other CryptoLocally users and build your reputation.
Both parties are able to go back to review the status of the
trade anytime by clicking on

💸 How To Use CryptoLocally’s Finance Wallet
One of our goals at CryptoLocally is to continue to push the
boundaries of what’s possible in the crypto & blockchain space.
Our new Finance Wallet is moving in this direction. It will
allow our users to collect rewards from their cryptocurrencies.

This guide will explain how to use CryptoLocally’s Finance

For New CryptoLocally users, start with step 1

Step 1. Sign up
First and foremost you need to
Sign up for a CryptoLocally
account. As you will see, this step is very straightforward.
The first step is to input your
email address and to create your CryptoLocally
user ID and password. Once you have read through
the
terms of use
and
privacy policy, click on Agree on Terms. After verifying your email,
you are ready to start the
Finance Wallet
on CryptoLocally!

Step 2. After login, Click on the
“Finance” tab on the top left
of the navbar to begin

Step 3. Set up the Finance Wallet
The “Enable Finance Wallet” window will open and prompt
you to
set up your Finance Wallet with a
password. Keep in mind that your password must be between 6
and 32 characters and include at least one number, one letter,
and one special character.
* Warning! If you lose your
password, you will lose access to your wallet and will not be
able to regain access to it. Read our
short guide
to understand why you can't restore your password.*
Click “CONFIRM” to complete the finance wallet set up.
Step 4. Deposit cryptocurrency
You will need to deposit cryptocurrency, such as, GIV or ETH,
into your Finance wallet address. To do so, click on the
“Deposit” button next to the cryptocurrency of choice.
The wallet address and memo where you have to send the
selected cryptocurrency will appear below
* CAUTION! Only send
corresponding cryptocurrency to a deposit address (GIV for
GIV, ETH for ETH, etc.). *

Step 5. Toggle the button to earn rewards
A table will display your cryptocurrency holdings.
Toggle the button under "Earn?" that corresponds to the
cryptocurrency that you wish to earn rewards on.
Type your password to confirm you want to earn rewards
on your crypto holdings with your finance wallet password.
By clicking the “CONFIRM” button you will officially
start collecting rewards with our Finance Wallet.

* Additional information
1. How to withdraw your cryptocurrency holdings from the
finance wallet
If you want to withdraw a specific cryptocurrency, click on
the “Withdraw” button next to it.
Keep in mind that for most currencies there is a minimum
amount required in order to process a withdrawal. For example,
the minimum amount for GIV is 1,500.
Fill the required input fields to withdraw the cryptocurrency
you initially selected. Type in
the recipient address, memo(if required) and
the wanted amount. Please double-check that the typed
address, memo and amount are correct.
Once you click on “SUBMIT,” a confirmation popup will
appear. Type your Finance Wallet password and the
confirmation code received over email. Click on
“CONFIRM,” and check your wallet for the transaction.

2. How to stop earning rewards?
Stop earning rewards is the opposite procedure of starting to
collect rewards.
Toggle the button under “Earn?” next to the
cryptocurrency that you wish to stop earning rewards
on.
Once again, you need to
type your Finance Wallet password to confirm you want
to STOP earning rewards.
By clicking the “CONFIRM” button you will officially
STOP collecting crypto rewards through our Finance
Wallet.
Note To All Users
DAI, USDT, and USDC require a transaction fee paid in ETH, so
it would be useful
to keep a small amount of ETH (0.1 to 0.2 ETH)
in your wallet.
The values of the table columns are:
Coin: The cryptocurrency represented in that row.
Total Balance: The total amount of the corresponding
cryptocurrency that you hold in your wallet at this specific
time.
Estimated Value (USD): The estimated value of the
corresponding cryptocurrency in U.S. Dollars at this
specific time.
Current APY: The current reward rate for the
corresponding cryptocurrency.
Earn?: Toggle “Yes” or “No” depending on whether you
wish to earn rewards on your crypto assets for the
corresponding cryptocurrency.
Actions: Select either “Deposit” to deposit
cryptocurrency into your wallet or “Withdraw” to withdraw
cryptocurrency from your wallet.
Above the table you can view Total Rewards Earned in USD.
